While OG oatmeal is one of my favorites, "noatmeal" is an AMAZING alternative.
My experimenting with "noatmeal" came from troubleshooting some skin issues trying to limit carb intake but the issue ended up being gluten so yay me, oats get to stay!!
For the record, oatmeal is naturally gluten free but I learned that during processing gluten can be added to many oatmeals. It's important to make sure that the oats you are buying say "gluten free" on them!
This "noatmeal" recipe is still great for people who are trying to limit their carb intake or doing keto!

Feel free to make this recipe for one serving or make in bulk for easy prep!
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup hemp hearts
- 2 tbsp flax meal
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
- 1tsp cinnamon
optional low carb toppings:
- shredded coconut
Place all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
Cook for ~10 minutes stirring occasionally.
Transfer to your favorite bowl and add toppings!
