super green oats



There's nothing like a warm bowl of oats covered in cinnamon, drizzled with honey, and topped with blueberries to ease you into your morning... The health benefits of oats are well known - antioxidants, fiber, lower cholesterol, improve blood sugar control, etc.


Along with an already nutritious base, this recipe includes some extra superfood benefits! Recently, I decided to finally try the Detox Bundle from YOUR SUPER and all I can say is amazing things!


After having this super green oatmeal every morning, I found myself more energetic, focused, and ready to take on the day.



Ingredients


- 1 cup oats

- 2 cups water

- 1 tbsp Super Green Superfood Mix - YourSuper (sub: any green powder)


toppings:


- 1 tbsp hemp seeds

- 1tbsp pumpkin seeds

- handful of blueberries

- 1 tbsp honey

- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1 tsp cacao nibs


**For improved digestibility, soak oats in water overnight


Bring water to a boil then add oats and lower heat to simmer.


Cook oats for ~15 minutes - stirring the oatmeal from the sides occasionally.


If oats appear dry, add water.


Once oats are tender, remove from heat and add in your SUPER green powder!


Once mixed, transfer to your favorite breakfast bowl.


Top with cinnamon, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, honey, blueberries, & cacao nibs! Enjoy!
