Coffee has always been my greatest love.
Surprisingly, it is not for the caffeine but simply for the taste.

My biggest struggle lies in drinking my coffee black or ordering an artificial sugar filled almond milk mocha latte. Some days black coffee is great but some days you want a little more without the added syrups and unhealthy powders...
For those days (or everyday), behold my magic mocha recipe!!
This recipe started with just cacao and honey, then after some everyday tweaks ended with this recipe.
Every day I change it up a little bit depending on my mood - upping the cacao on my more chocolatey days, the maca on my more nutty days, etc.

1 cup of coffee
1 tablespoon of cocao powder
1 teaspoon of maca powder
1 tablespoon of local honey*
dash of cinnamon

My morning routine includes throwing this recipe into a jar while running out the door. Adding the drip (darkest roast is my preference) at my local coffee shop! Then shaking it as I run to my next destination!
