This golden turmeric bowl is the perfect start to any morning but preferably a cozy, slow-moving sunday morning!
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
* optional: 2 tbsp almond milk
- 1/2 banana (sliced)
- 1 tsp shredded coconut
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp cacao nibs
Bring water to a boil then add oats and lower heat to simmer.
Cook oats for ~15 minutes - stirring the oatmeal from the sides occasionally.
*For creamier texture, add a tiny splash of almond milk!
Once oats are tender, remove from heat and mix in the turmeric and cinnamon!
Once mixed, transfer to your favorite breakfast bowl.
Top with bananas, shredded coconut, cacao nibs, & honey!
